Our goal was straightforward: create aesthetically lovely candles that have unforgettable, sophisticated scents, all while celebrating one of the best decades in music ever. Easy, right?
Happily, we’ve managed to do just that. Our candles smell and look incredible, and they encourage you to rediscover (or discover?) some of the best albums released during the 1990’s.
Each scent is inspired by an incredible album released in the 90’s, and we’ve linked to each one in the product descriptions. We hope you’ll fall in love all over again!

We use 100% coconut-soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and lead-free wicks.

We’re proud to support the amazing work of CASA in Raleigh, NC.
CASA provides access to stable, affordable housing for people who are homeless or at risk by developing and managing rental communities.

Meet the Founder and Maker
Hi! I’m Laura and I’m so glad you found Speckled Moon.
I wanted to create a business that combined my favorite things: creative making, business, 90’s music, and housing for all. After years of other attempts at creative endeavors, Speckled Moon is the culmination of everything I’ve learned and I couldn’t be more proud.
Our candles are made in Cary, NC, a suburb of Raleigh, and we support CASA, an organization that works to provide housing for all in the Triangle.
